We are reaching out with an important opportunity to help others. 

Millions of children around the globe are currently without shoes, exposing them to unsafe and unsanitary conditions - and often preventing them from attending school. 

Samaritan's Feet is a non-profit organization founded and led by our dear friend and former supply chain colleague, Manny Ohonme, with a mission near and dear to our hearts -  providing shoes and HOPE to children around the globe. To date, Samaritan's Feet has provided shoes to 10.6 million people across 110 countries, including the U.S.! This year, we answered the call to help Samaritan's Feet reach 1.1 million more people in need... and we hope you will, too. 

Jim and I have committed to providing shoes to up to 1,000 children in need, which means we aim to raise $20,000 by the end of October. This is no doubt a big goal. However, we have FAITH that with all of the amazing people we know and the abundant blessings we collectively share that together we can reach our goal and make a meaningful impact on the lives of others. 

Every donation - from $1 to the moon - makes a difference and is GREATLY appreciated. We will likely never personally know the extent of your generosity, but we will be forever grateful! Thank you.

In an effort to reach our goal and thank you for your generous support, we are sweetening the pot!

Anyone who donates a minimum of $500 to Samaritan’s Feet on or before midnight October 31, 2024, will be entered into a drawing for a 6-day / 5-night stay at our beachfront home in Providenciales, Turks and Caicos (a value of $10,000). The newly renovated home sleeps up to eight guests. 

There is no limit for how many times you can enter in increments of $500, but the drawing will be capped at 40 entries to maximize your chance of winning. 

You are welcome to get creative - go in on a group donation with your favorite travel companions.

Regardless of if, or how much you donate, we are incredibly grateful for your consideration and support!

BEACHFRONT HOME RAFFLE - TERMS & CONDITIONS

PROGRAM RULES:

- Must make a donation by midnight Oct 31, 2024, to participate. 

- Samaritan's Feet will manage all qualified raffle entries. The drawing will occur on November 2, 2024 date at noon EST. The winner will be notified via the email address within 48 hours. 

- Each $500 donation will result in one raffle entry. Participants may enter as many times as they'd like. *Participants are welcome and encouraged to donate more than $500. Only donations in increments of $500 will count toward each raffle entry.  

- The raffle will become valid once we reach the first 20 entries of $500 (once donation threshold reaches $10,000) and will be capped to the first 40 entries of $500 to maximize participant chances.  

- Participants must be 25 years of age or older to be eligible for drawing. 

- For noncash prize taxes, the homeowners will pay Samaritan’s Feet International 25% of the fair market value of the prize minus the amount of the winning donation so that SFI may remit on winner’s behalf via W-2G tax form.  

PRIZE DETAILS/TERMS:

- Raffle winner will receive a 6-day, 5-night stay at a private, beachfront home in beautiful Turks & Caicos for up to a total of eight guests (including the prize winner). The house includes four bedrooms with ensuites, and two kitchens, living rooms and laundry rooms. 

- Prize is non-transferrable and may not be offered for resale. Prize is not redeemable for cash or any other item of value.

- Visit must be scheduled with the homeowners at least three weeks ahead of time and is subject to availability.

- Blackout dates apply.

- Trip must be taken by December 15, 2025

- Participants agree to leave the home and furnishings in the same condition as when they arrived. A security deposit of $1,500 will be required at the time of reservation to cover potential damage to the property/furnishings. Deposit will be directly refunded within 21 days following guest departure,provided there is no damage to the property. Winner is responsible for any damage incurred by their party, even if s/he is not directly responsible. 

- Home owners are not required to rebook or extend winner's home stay due to travel issues/delays, medical conditions, inclement weather, pandemics, or unforeseeable disasters or acts of God. 

 - Raffle winner agrees to sign separate rental agreement and adhere to house rules and neighborhood regulations (e.g. No pets, drugs or smoking permitted on property. No parties, fireworks or loud music. Quiet hours are from 10pm-8am in residential neighborhood, etc.).  

- Winner is responsible for all travel related expenses, including but not limited to, airfare, car rental/ground transportation, food and beverage, excursions, travel insurance, incidentals.

-Winner agrees to forfeit prize should they fail to comply with prize terms/conditions and rules.
