About this Cause

J.J. and Jim Barnes felt called to be 2024 Hope Givers upon witnessing the incredible impact Samaritan’s Feet is making on the lives of participants. J.J. is a semi-retired marketing executive / CMO who helped rapidly grow multiple software and technology firms from double to triple digits. She first met Manny Ohonme 20 years ago as colleagues at RedPrairie (now BlueYonder) and remains inspired by his energy and passion for giving back. Jim is the founder and CEO of enVista, a leading global supply chain, automation and IT consulting firm. Jim and J.J. also own and operate a wine import/distribution business, and several travel/hospitality related businesses in Turks and Caicos and the BVIs/USVIs. Their primarily focus and biggest blessings are their three teenage children, Jackson (19), Tyler (17) and Teagan (15), and two mini golden doodles. They look forward to becoming more actively involved with Samaritan’s Feet and know will be life changing. As a Hope Giver for Samaritan’s Feet, I hope to generate awareness for the cause as well as raise $25,000 to support the greatest needs or the organization.
